Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

Acceptable Use

You may use LinkGuard to monitor URLs you own or have permission to check. Do not use the service to overload third-party servers, submit malicious URLs, or violate any applicable law.

Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but provide no formal SLA. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for missed checks or delayed alerts.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One person or entity per account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Payment & Cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard settings — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your data. We retain ownership of the LinkGuard application, branding, and code. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the service.

Limitation of Liability

LinkGuard is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any lost revenue, commissions, or damages arising from missed link checks, false positives, or service downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
